Refund & Return Policy

At Texas Candles, we take pride in crafting high-quality candles and home fragrance products. Because many of our items are handmade and involve wax, fragrance oils, and open-flame use, our return policy is designed to balance customer satisfaction with product safety.


1. All Sales Are Final Unless Otherwise Noted

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Used or burned candles

  • Items damaged after delivery

  • Orders placed incorrectly by the customer

  • Fragrance preference or scent dissatisfaction


2. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a replacement or refund:

  • The item must be unused and unburned

  • You must provide clear photos of:

    • The damaged product

    • The shipping box and packing materials

  • Proof of purchase is required

Once approved, we will issue either:

  • A replacement (preferred), or

  • A refund to the original payment method


3. Incorrect Orders

If you receive the wrong item, notify us within 7 days of delivery.
We will correct the issue at no additional cost.


4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was ours


5. Lost or Delayed Packages

Once an order is handed off to the carrier:

  • Texas Candles is not responsible for shipping delays

  • Lost packages will be handled on a case-by-case basis

  • We may assist in filing a carrier claim when applicable


6. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only if they have not yet shipped.

If you need to cancel an order:

  • Contact us immediately

  • Once an order is shipped, it cannot be canceled or refunded


7. Safety & Liability Notice

Candles involve open flames and must be used responsibly.

Texas Candles is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by misuse

  • Failure to follow candle safety instructions

  • Fire or property damage after delivery

Use all products at your own risk.
